The BREATH-A-TECH® Cardboard Spacer is a portable hand held spacer designed to optimise the delivery of aerosolised ASTHMA and COPD medication from most pressurized metered dose inhalers (pMDI) or puffers. Suitable for emergency use, first aid kits and when you need a portable solution, the BREATH-A-TECH® Cardboard Spacer can used up to 7 days. Made and designed in Australia, the BREATH-A-TECH® Cardboard Spacer is for single patient use and does not need priming before use, so it can be used straight out of the package. Features:

Directions

  1. Place fingers in the middle of the chamber along the long sides as indicated on the chamber. Gently squeeze to snap side panels into place.
    To fully expand the Breath-A-Tech® Cardboard Spacer, push the inhaler slot side in gently.
  2. Remove the cap from your inhaler and shake well.
  3. Push the inhaler into the inhaler slot opening as indicated on the Breath-A-Tech® Cardboard Spacer.
  4. Put the mouthpiece between the lips and make an airtight seal. Maintain a firm grasp on the Breath-A-Tech® Cardboard Spacer to ensure it is fully expanded at all times.
  5. Depress your inhaler and take a slow, deep breath through the mouth and hold for 5-10 seconds.
  6. Wait at least one minute before repeating step 5. Only use one dose from the inhaler at a time.
    Remove inhaler and flatten Breath-A-Tech® Cardboard Spacer between uses.
