Behind the name Frakkur is none other than Sigur Ros singer/guitarist Jónsi, who lives out his preferences for experimental electronic music here.

The recordings were made at different locations in the years 2000 to 2004, partly at home in Reykjavík, in hotel rooms on tour or on holiday trips. The result of this work is 25 tracks, which are now being released as a deluxe 3x12" on the artist's own label Krunk Records, and are thus being released on vinyl for the first time ever.

Each LP comes in a different vinyl color and is limited to 3,000 copies worldwide.
