Very special limited edition (only 2,000 copies in French - never sold commercially) published in 1978 to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of Les Aventures de Tintin. Given to members of the Press who were invited to the cocktail party in 1978. 

The subtitle of the book is: comment naît une histoire  de Tintin. Fascinating "how to" showing the various steps involved in writing a graphic story, starting from a scribbling all the way to bringing life to the characters via the use of transparent film.

The final page of the book bears the signatures of several key members of Casterman.

The blue page behind the front cover has a slight tear on top right corner which has been fixed by using transparent tape. See pictures.
