Coffee Gifted (LTD Clear Vinyl)

 

After KOFFEE was awarded best reggae album in 2019 for their 5 track debut EP/LP,
Their new 10-track album is now available as a strictly limited clear vinyl LP in a gatefold cover.

"Gifted" is the significant title of Koffee's first album, which will be released in 2022. The Jamaican reggae and dancehall singer, songwriter, rapper, DJ and guitarist from Spanish Town has already proven that she is very talented. Their 2019 EP »Rapture« won Best Reggae Album of the Year at the 2020 Grammy Awards. Her breakthrough single "Toast" received support from the Obamas, among others, who included the song in their annual playlist.

For her debut, the 21-year-old artist, whose real name is Mikayla Simpson, used 360 Reality Audio technology developed by sony . Music and vocals are arranged in a 360-degree sound field to enable a more intensive listening experience.

"Put on your headphones for a simulated 360 reality audio experience" reads a note on YouTube under the video for their song "West Indies", the first single from "Gifted", which was released in October 2021. A little later, Koffee released The Harder They Fall, the theme song to the Netflix film of the same name. It is not yet known whether the song will also be on their album. In February 2022, another single came with »Pull Up«.
