Growing Hollyhock Seeds

Sowing Method: Direct Sow.

Light Requirement: Full Sun

Instructions: Spring sown hollyhock seeds may flower the same year or next. Fall-sown seeds will flower the following year.  Scatter seeds over soil, do not bury with more than ¼” of soil.  Water to a depth of 2”.  Expect germination in 10-14 days.  Thin seedlings to 18-36 inches apart.  Water seedlings and established hollyhocks when the soil surface dries out.
