* Peggy Karr Glass was established in 1987 and is located in New Jersey. Her studio is the premier design of handmade fused glass gift ware. This technique dates back to over 3500 years and was used by the Mesopotamians. Each pattern is hand stenciled to a layer of glass that then has another layer of glass placed over the top of it. The piece is then placed into a mold and fired to a temperature of 1600 degrees, which causes all the layers of glass to be fused together.
