The Primary key is used on the ignition switch.

Used on most 1936-1966 General Motors vehicles: 

Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Cadillac

If your code is not on the key code list, visit my eBay store and enter your key code in the store search, the correct listing will pop up.

The key you receive will be cut on an OEM GM key blank made by Strattec.

Strattec (formerly know as Briggs & Stratton Automotive division) has been making General Motors OEM keys since 1995.

Places to look for your keycode:

1. On the original OEM key, the key code was on the “knockout” piece of the key.(see pics)

2. On the body of the ignition switch. (see pics) Research your model online for the removal procedure to find your key code.

3. Handwritten in the original owners manual or original paperwork.

Guaranteed to be accurately cut to the code you choose from the key code list.

Returns: I can not do a return if you order the wrong key code from the list. Once a key has been cut, it's of no use to me. If the key you receive doesn't work, you must send me a picture showing where you got your key code from verifying that the code you purchased is your correct key code. If it is my fault, I will refund the purchase price plus original and return shipping costs.
