Ghurka's versatile duffle bag is for those trips, business events, shopping, or any outing when you need to expand your bag of duffle on the return trip home. The unique fold-end design allows for about ¼ more space when the shackle hook and clip are unfastened. "Fold-end design opens to allow extra room and ease in packing. Ends secure with brass shackles. The adjustable, removable shoulder strap also makes this bag more versatile. This duffle meets all airline industry standards as a carry-on.

Founded in Connecticut in 1975 by luxury belt and brace designer Marley Hodgson, Ghurka has served as a symbol of superior American leather craftsmanship for over thirty years.
The origins of the Ghurka brand can be traced back to a fortuitous discovery at a British auction house in the early 1970s. Hodgson, inspired by his love of history and leather craft, bid on campaign travel gear and leather boots formerly owned by a British Ghurka officer stationed in India at the turn of the 20th century. He was so impressed by the quality of the nearly century-old leather – durable yet supple despite its age – and by the intricate craftsmanship that he was compelled to launch a line of comparable leather accessories. Hodgson tracked down the lost tanning formula for these boots, and other accouterments carried by the legendary Ghurka regiments and applied the manufacturing process to his new collection ".
