Front cover has a water spot (1"x1") and a water-glass half ring. The corners are heavily worn, with the underlying cardboard showing. The back cover has a few minor spots and some wear on the corners, with the bottom corner coating worn off and the cardboard showing (1/4").

The binding is split. The book itself is holding together well, but it is separating from the back cover.

The title page has a large (7") curved tear, and the following page has a 1.5" tear at the bottom.

The unbound edge of numerous pages is torn and in some cases a bit of the paper is missing.

There are some tears at the bottom of some pages next to the spine.

There is a small pencil mark in the margin on one page.

There are smudges and some stains on many pages in the margins.
