1941 Bell Telephone Advertisement National Geographic "Building For Defense"

This page from the National Geographic is taped to a white piece of paper, which was in a frame. The frame was not in good condition, so only the magazine page is being sold.

The ad is from Bell Telephone System and is called "Building for Defense". The back has a form to sign up for a year membership in the National Geographic Society with the year 1941. So, the ad must be referring to WWII and building the phone network to better handle emergencies. Please see the photos for more information.

Approximate dimensions: Ad is 10" x 6"; paper background is a bit larger
