English Description:
A rare Chinese globular cloisonne enamel jar and cover. Of compressed form,
covered all over with a dark treacle fish scale diaper,
bordered at the top by surrounding ruyi bands and a leaf border at the base of the vessel,
the inner surfaces and the bottom covered with robin's egg blue enamel,
the cover with a gilt horizontal band, carved wood stand.
