With over 35 years experience in Sea Fishing we have decided to share this knowledge.

These are extremely versatile strong rigs which we have found had the most success over the years for big game fish species and long lasting!! No changing trace after catching 1 fish.

We have found that abrasive skin on the fish (Shark, Tope, Huss) caught can shred any Strong Mono trace and weaken it forcing the change, hence why lots used wire traces. This trace is as strong as wire with the flexibility of mono and doesn't kink like wire does after a fishing session.

When using wire due to the weight and extreme rigidness of it the bait doesn't flow in the tide and is difficult to fish a Live bait and presenting it well.

The 1m - 200lb low memory mono trace prevents tangles as any more than a metre will cause more tangling issues in our experience. These traces present any live or dead bait perfectly and can be used with a large float. They are more than strong enough to tackle most big game fish.... With the exception of JAWS!!

The fish can wrap up in the trace when playing it and we have lost many fish this way.

As long as you rinse the hook and Swivel with fresh water to save corrosion they will last many trips and land many fish

Perfect size 8/0 Super Strong Circle hook means it is a lot kinder on the fish. No need to strike!!

Remember guys you can a big fish on a smaller hook but you can't catch a small fish on a big hook!!!

Sharks/Tope for instance pick the bait up and run, when they stop that's when they eat the bait - all you do is wind into the fish and the circle hook kindly hooks the fish in the scissors/side of the mouth, this makes it far easier unhooking.

No cutting your trace losing the hook and a fish going back with a big hook to digest causing them harm.

Slightly different for all other species - Just simply wind into the fish when you have a bite.

These are professionally Hand crimped which prevents weakening the line with knots.

We recommend using a 10ft - 60lb minimum rubbing/shock leader when fishing for Sharks/Tope as the fishes tail will easily break your mainline unless strong enough. Tapered rubbing leader is far better too.
