** One of these sweaters was stolen. Someone on Mercari bought one. A guy named Colin McComas said he had the sweater and has not shipped it back. He has not paid for the sweater. If you see one for sale, it is not me..these are unique. Authorities are involved.**

This vintage hand knit wool cardigan is just outstanding! Creamy background with horses front and back, and diamond borders in black and gray. Zipper front. Nice heavy, chunky knit. Sweater is a size medium and is in lovely preowned condition.

There is no label. These are handmade. Cowichan knitting is a form of knitting characteristic of the Cowichan people of southeastern Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The distinctively patterned, heavy-knit Cowichan sweaters, popular among British Columbians and tourists, are produced using this method.

I had a big farm and 4 horses. I lived in Lubec, ME on the border with Canada. I found these to 2 sweaters and Bought for my ex and me. Never wore them and they've been packed away. I can't go lower on price as these were originally $210 each. They are very heavy an very well made.Thank you.
