The 7" records were used by BBC Radio and Television studios in preference to LP records or tape as the individual sounds are easier to locate on a 7" disc.  The records were phased out in preference to CD's in the late 1980's and eventually sounds were digitally stored.  The BBC no longer has a sound effects centre.

THE small print: Please read - -

If you buy more than one LP and the combined value is less than £50 then wait for an invoice as it costs the same to post two as one . However if the value is £50 or greater the cost is nearly twice that which I have shown so there is little room for a saving.  This is because items have to be sent special next day post to have insurance over £50 but the upside is you get the record(s) sooner.

If you have any questions about the item please ask. I don't mind providing additional pictures/ or information if required.

If the item is not as described you will, of course get a full refund.
If the item arrives damaged I refund the cost AFTER a photograph is emailed, via Ebay messaging, showing the damage (there are instances when a buyer says an item is damaged when, in reality, it arrived safely, to fraudulently obtain a refund)
