SALPIGLOSSIS SINUATA “BOLERO MIX”, PAINTED TONGUE

This species is an annual or sometimes short lived perennial native to southern Chile. It was introduced to the northern hemisphere in the 1820s. “Bolero Mix” it is an improved form with more branched, erect habit and masses of large trumpet flowers (8-10 cm) in unusual colour range. The blossoms are mostly bi- coloured, in shadows of yellow, orange, red, violet, blue and have contrasting, darker veins along each petal. An excellent choice for summer beds, borders and containers. Nice cut flower. Can be sown in autumn for winter-spring flowering indoors.
