THIS IS A PHASE 8 PROTOTYPE, RELEASED 10/05/24 - AN IMPROVEMENT ON THE LAST PHASE 7 BATCH SOLD IN NOVEMBER 2023. WE SOLD CLOSE TO 6000 UNITS WITH A 94% POSISTIVE FEEDBACK RATE.
THIS VERSION BRINGS THE FOLLOWING CHANGES:

1. DIFFERENT MATERIAL MIX TO HELP STOP "CLUMPING" - WE HAVE ABOUT A 30% REPORT RATE OF CLUMPING ON THE LAST BATCH. THIS VERSION IS HARDER TO PULL UP BUT (ON FIRST TEST BATCH) REDUCES THE CLUMPING TO BELOW 10%

2. THESE ARE CREATED IN A SINGLE STACK TO AID THE ABOVE

3. RECOLOURING OF THE LOGO TO MAKE IT MORE EASILY IDENTIFIABLE AS PHASE 8

THIS PHASE RETAINS THE CLEAR TAPE OF THE LAST PHASE 7 BATCH

History

After years of putting up with hyper inflated prices and seeing our customers lose access to such an accessible product, UpTape has partnered with BargainTrend in order to try and bring back the good times - welcome to UpTape ®

Yes this is the first Scotch Pop Up Tape compatible refill ever and has taken years of effort, supported by our customers.

This is a PHASE 8 Prototype and is therefore not the finished product however it is functional with the following known issues:

ABOUT 50% STIFFER TO PULL UP THAN THE ORIGINAL 

RARELY JAMS 

Which we are working to iron out in the next release BUT all of this takes money, so we need to see the customer base still demands this type of product.

So please although we welcome feedback, you are not buying a finished product however it does work and has been extensively tested. It is supplied in the same dimensions and with 50 strips of pre cut tape.

Every prototype sold will go back into Research and Development into making this product better and of course, all feedback welcome!

The target retail cost for this product will be £3 per tab, which is much better than the £10-£15 per tab currently.
