About the Artist

This work was created by -- me --  B Sistak Baur, respected artist in the Chicago area. I have shown my work in prestigious venues such as the Woman Make Gallery, Chicago Art Open, River North (Chicago) and numerous cultural centers. My work has been accepted into national juried shows and is included of many public and private collections. I also show and sell my work at summer art festivals. 

I have been working since the early 1990s. I have experimented with many techniques and materials and has often used lovely food scenes (many desserts!) as the subject. I find that the topic seems to lend itself well to textural media techniques with oils, acrylics, mixed, found object and metal. I currently sell work here on eBay. However, you may have seen me and my work at Chicago area art festivals and exhibitions over the past years.
