Large 7.5” Antique Reading Double Door Top Mount Bolt and Catch, c1890’s. This is a fancy Victorian bolt with beautiful scroll work. It was used at the top of a double door and is spring loaded. Add a new chain to allow to you to access opening the door without excessive reaching. Bolt spring is very strong and works easily. A plain catch for the top has been added.

Bolt measures 7 1/2” long without the keeper and is 2 1/4” wide. Keeper adds 1 13/16”. The bolt extends out 1/2” when in the keeper.
