Button cover and USB cover for Cardo ScalaRider G9 / G9X communicators produced by 3D printing in flexible resin with shore 40 hardness. The buttons were designed based on measurements on the communicator itself, for a perfect fit.

Common Questions:
  • Why do we only sell kits with 4 units (for 2 devices) ? Due to shipping costs from Brazil, it is the only way to get a fair unit price for each piece.
  • USB Cover fits on G4? The USB Port Cover has not yet been tested on G4 models, so compatibility is not guaranteed.
  • Is it the same as the original buttons? The design was made to be as close as possible to the original model, being different in format only in the central button. All icons have been reproduced;
  • Is the resin printed cover soft like the old cover? Although we use a flexible resin, its hardness is greater than the silicone used in the original covers, even so, the functioning of the buttons is not compromised, just needing a little more force to trigger them. I've been using it on my personal G9 every day since I produced the first test unit that passed.
  • Are they waterproof? Yes, water will not pass through them if the bonding process is done correctly;
  • How can they be fixed? It is necessary to remove any and all remnants of the old cover, use a tool or a toothpick to help you remove the parts that may have been stuck in the housing. Clean with isopropyl alcohol after this procedure. Contact glue is used (Gorilla Glue works great, B-7000, T-7000), applied to both parts and following the instructions. Use thin layers, otherwise the fit won't fit properly! I let it dry for the indicated time and then join the parts together. Gently press the cover when attaching it to the housing to prevent it from tearing! If you don't want to hold the parts while the adhesive works, you can use adhesive tape to tighten the cover against the communicator housing. Wait the time indicated by the sticker manufacturer and only then use your communicator again
