Vintage 50s-60s cocktail dress, gold lame and black lace, handmade, size 6 (?). What a great dress from the late 50s, early 60s. Made of gold lame and black lace, the main shape is a sheath, with a semi-tabard lace covering. The lame has worn some and you will find two holes in the front (see photo--covered by lace when you are wearing it). It is also fraying at the neckline where the zipper is. Measurements: shoulder to shoulder 14", bust 36", waist 26", hips 34", zipper 17", back of neckline (note this is low) to hem 36".
I do not have things dry cleaned because the chemicals used are quite toxic (if you have found a good non-toxic cleaners, be thankful!). However, the items will come to you with no strong odor and in good repair. They may be wrinkled and need to be ironed or steamed. Any defects that I found will be noted but I’m selling these in good faith and with the understanding that vintage clothing will have some slight imperfections.
