This listing is for the old carved hard stone statue that you see in the photos. The old antique dealers that I purchased it from said that they purchased it at an estate sale and that they did not know how old it was. They also said that they tested it and that it was jade. They told me what kind of jade it was but it has been a few years since I purchased it and I have forgotten what they told me about the type of jade. It looks like russet nephrite jade to me. I wonder if it is Hetian jade. I am guessing that it is Chinese. I do not know how old it is. I am guessing that it is at least vintage. I leave it to the buyer to decide what kind of jade it is where it was made and how old it is. It is definitely a hard stone.

It weighs close to 885 grams or 1.96 pounds. The longest measurements of the base measure close to 5 7/8 by 2 ¼ inches. At its tallest, it measures close to 5 ½ inches tall.

Some of my photos were taken with a bright light shining through the statue to show its translucency in some areas.

The condition is much like you see it in the photos. It is in excellent condition with no damage.
