This is a Gamestar PS2 network adapter that can be used to hook up a SATA drive for use with your Playstation 2. Note that there is no ethernet functionality, only hard drive functionality with this device.
These are better than the OEM version as they can accept much cheaper and more ubiquitous SATA drives, whereas the OEM network device can only handle IDE drives which are scarce, small and unreliable.
