Description

• Pit-chops, or small boxes for incidentals, were used by women through the Joseon Dynasty for the storage of small combs, hairpins and cosmetics.
• Crafted of persimmon wood with decorative brass hardware and hinges.
• Toggle latches allow lids to open fully to paper-lined interiors
• With handwritten calligraphy and Red Seal Stamp.
