This item is a low/high temperature control module relay primarily used for protecting LiFePO4, LiFe, LFP, and other Lithium batteries from cold temperature situations. In most cases, charging a LiFePO4 battery under 0F/0C may damage the battery.

The temperature control module can be used with all sizes and capacity batteries in the 12v - 16.8v range and supports up to a 20A charge. The unit itself is powered by any source between 12v - 16.8v (it can be the battery itself if the voltage is in range).

The temperature controller module can be integrated in two optional ways.

1. The controller can be implemented as a direct relay between the input charge source and the battery. This mode will prevent input charging damage in cold weather situations.

2. The second method module can also be connected to control the disconnect of BOTH the input AND output of the battery by directly installing to most BMS balance lines.
