RARE ITEM ALERT!

Hello and thanks for checking out this listing of a set of used vintage Salsa Flip-Off quick release skewers! I discovered these skewers in the collection of a retired cyclist and they will come to you in the very good to excellent used condition seen in the included photographs.

A special word on these skewers: This particular version of the Flip-Off was produced for a very short period approximately 20 years ago. They featured additional machining (the scalloped area on the inside of each lever) and more involved polishing (note the rounded edges throughout the levers). The silver finish is also a bit "milky" and more sophisticated than the typical gloss finish of your garden variety Flip-Off.

The silver finish is lovely and has a luster that is hard to capture in a photograph. Laser engraved "Salsa" logos on each lever For 100mm spaced forks and 130mm spaced rears. Correct end nuts included in color-matching alloy.

Overall condition is a solid 6 out of 10 with typical faint signs of prior use such as mild oxidation of the "Salsa" logos and some burnishing of the silver finish. The rear looks to have been trimmed down for a road bike, hence I listed them for use with 130mm rear ends.
