This is the genuine article, a piece of real Victorian (or possibly very early 1900's) clothing. Presumably a mourning cloak but may have had wider use. Where would you find another? I am sorry this cannot be cheap, just too rare.

Width pit to pit  49cm 

Overall length from top rear collar to base 85cm

Sleeve from pit to  end of cuff 40cm

This is a heavily embroidered garment with lace and silk in jet black (sorry, pictures not as good as I would like). Picture one is of the front, picture two of the back.

It is generally in remarkably good condition and sound, no moths attack or excessive wear. It does need a little conservation where there has been minor physical damage. The lini ng is showing some distress in places and would benefit from light reinforcing
