Lightweight and compact, the legs lock with a safety button in both the up and down positions
The large platform size and splayed legs make these steps exceptionally stable - the legs give a footprint on the ground of 54 x 37 cm / 21" x just under 15" - the legs lock very firmly in position, they cannot fold unless their release button is pressed. I use one of these steps with my own motorhome.
The platform does not flex like cheap steps - the 4 aluminium rails that make it up not only have a deep 2.5cm / 1" cross section, they also have a central box section underneath. They are firmly rivetted to steel U-section end rails
