Thank you for looking at my lot of ceramic slip molds. You will want to check my other listings, as I will have approximately 10,000 molds to list over the next several months. Any of these molds may contain some writing on the outside or small external chips, and a few do have slight imperfections inside, which I will always do my best to show in pictures. My molds are shipped taped together, wrapped in bubble wrap with loose fill and boxed. That box then will be packed into a larger box with loose fill. Molds under six pounds may not be double boxed. Because of the weight when molds are involved, I do not offer combined shipping on molds over 16 pounds or $50 in value. After about 15 to 18 pounds, the weight is such that even if molds are sent in the same box, the shipping price remains practically unchanged. Combined shipping is offered by request only. Once the packages are shipped, there will be no refunds for shipping discounts. Despite our best efforts, we cannot control the package handlers, and on rare occasions, molds do break. In that case, we will run through an insurance claim process, and when the claim process is complete, you will receive a full refund for both the purchase and shipping cost. Our careful packaging, however, has been very successful with only 4 broken out of the last 1000+ our family has shipped including hundreds of international shipments, so you can be confident in the likelihood of receiving your molds intact.
As for the quoted shipping price, it is not possible to put down a price that is the best shipping option for all regions. If I list with a flat price for shipping, then the person in my own state or the person across the country would have to pay the same amount for shipping. With calculated shipping, I cannot set it up to show you the best price by carrier and your area may be drastically cheaper with a different carrier. If the shipping price seems outrageous, feel free to send me a message with your zip code and I can pull up a quote and send the item by the best carrier available for the specific mold and your region.
This great ceramic slip mold shows signs of basic use. It measures approximately 9.5 inches, by 4 inches, by 1.25 inches, and weighs around 2 pounds. The interior measurements of the fan for example are approximately 2.75 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide, and there are no flaws in the mold itself. Many of my molds have been in storage for several years and may have discoloration on the inside. The outside of the mold shows signs of storage as well. Thank you again for looking.
