TRICYRTIS HIRTA “MIYAZAKI”, TOAD LILY

Probably best known Tricyrtis species and variety appreciated for its unique, orchid-like flowers, ability to bloom in shade and late bloom time. Intriguing 3 cm flowers with six showy tepals are white with heavy purple spotting and appear in leaf axils and stems end. “Miyazaki” is noted also for shorter, sturdy, elegant arching stems. Lovely cut flower for autumn bouquets. Ideal for shady borders.
