This is a very substantial & sturdy item of furniture that we bought in the Alps, to bring a bit of Haute-Savoie charm to Kent. It had a "distressed" finish when we bought it, but has acquired some minor signs of careful & occasional use over the years - please see the photos - there's nothing major as it was more a decoration/accent chair than a necessary piece of furniture

Please note that unlike many lambing chairs, this has a straight/vertical back allowing it to be placed flush against a wall. The sides are also vertical - they may appear to flare outwards in the pic's, but this is not the case - I'll add some more photos shortly to illustrate this.

Following a recent re-styling of our ground floor, it is no longer required
