The back protectors conform to the requirements of Protection Class 2 of European Standard EN 1621-2, thus offering protection of the highest Protection Class.  Back protectors are designed for inserting into so-called protector pockets, which manufacturers of motorcycing apparel provide in clothing in the correct position and size.

Alternatively, with the HIPROTEC Snap System from Hein Gerick Deutschland GmbH, the HIPROTEC Backshock Air back protector can be attached to the lining of the motorcyling apparel with the four fastening straps.

For optimum performance (protection and comfort), the back protector must be positioned with the correspondingly marked side (with the CE symbol) facing outwards (writing facing away from the body).
