The leaves are great in Terrarium and isopod setups. These are a mixture of native Central Missouri trees including oak (we have 10 different types of oak trees in Missouri),maple, etc (if unsure please research types of trees in Missouri if you need to know more). These are collected AWAY from cedar or pine trees, so oil doesn't get on them from those trees. I have fed these to my isopods and they LOVE these leaves! 

Leaves are collected fresh when ordering , heat treated and then packaged immediately before shipping to provide for "fresh" leaves. We then heat-seal them into bags to prevent any chances of insects getting into bag. 

Weight will vary, leaves will come packaged in one-gallon HEAT SEALED bag. These bags are the same size as a gallon bag, but made for the heat sealer.
