For sale is
a new set of rubber gaskets for the front and back windows, the clear plastic dome
and coin entry.
As you can
see in some of the photos, these gaskets are quite visible in the front and
back windows. That’s also how the original gaskets looked. All of these gaskets
were professionally cut at a gasket company up in Nashville, Tennessee based
off original examples.
I’ve picked
up several Red Balls that had a rubber gasket for the clear plastic dome that
appears to be glued in place. If it’s in decent shape, I leave it in place and
put this dome gasket on top of it. Also, depending on how good a shape the
original gasket is, you may not need this dome gasket at all.
The coin
entry gasket isn’t visible from the outside. It sits inside the housing.
SUGGESTION:
Even though you put these gaskets on your Red Ball meter, I would NOT let your
meter sit out in the rain. I did not get the gasket for the operating
times/instructions and/or coin entry windows. They needed to be much thinner
that these gaskets and I didn’t bother getting them made.
Besides, who’s
going to let a meter this expensive sit outside.
I try to
keep shipping down as cheap as possible. I believe I can mail these in a
regular business size envelope.
NOTE: I also
have a few sets of new clear Lexan windows available.
