This coin has a decent Strike Through mint error on the obverse disrupting the suns rays.


"Mint Error" pedigree with rare "38th Director US Mint flag label". Label is hand signed by Ed C. Moy the 38th director of the US Mint. This is a gorgeous Silver Eagle without any spots or toning.
The plastic holder(slab) looks good except for on chipped/missing piece on the bottom rim otherwise it's in excellent condition. This does not affect the coin but it is priced to reflect this issue.
A must for every serious American Silver Eagle coin collector
