A  c.1820's English Georgian Period Staffordshire Ironstone Water Pitcher, Gaudy Dutch Pattern, a Dragon Handle, Rare Lg Size

 

Hand painted in Imari colors of Orange, Blue and White called "Gaudy Dutch."

The Dragon handle reaches up into

the pitcher and has a dragon like face

with green scales on it's back.

Dimensions:

8 1/2" H. x 9 1/2" W with handle x 5 3/4" D

Condition:      

Good age-related condition, 

It has one age fissure and a very 

                     

 small chip to the upper paneled rim lip.
