Lot of 4x WW1 photo postcards German soldier Iron Cross 1914 2nd Class recipients (EK2).

One studio setting portrait has standing soldier wearing peaked cap and belt and buckle, wearing his EK2 Medal and ribbon in an unusual buttonhole position to suit the style of tunic being worn.

One photo is of a standing soldier wearing ‘pork pie’ field cap and Guards litzen on collar of tunic, holding a cigarette, and wearing a EK2 ribbon bar. This photo postcard has a reverse letter inscribed, over which has been placed a label with what appears to be the soldier’s name and possibly a date for 1918.

Another waist up portrait photo of soldier wearing spectacles and peaked cap, with what is possibly regimental number ‘8’ on shoulder boards, has a EK2 ribbon bar on his tunic. This photo postcard has ben removed from an album, and on the reverse there is a 1918 date visible.

Also includes a propaganda postcard Deutscher Frűhling (German Spring), depicting wounded NCO with EK2 Medal and ribbon in buttonhole position, sitting in chair with arm in sling, with attentive standing wife/girlfriend.

These 4x photo postcards range from good to very good condition overall.
