MTT - Military Transport Toys

1V Panzer tank made of tin and construction is made of tabs and slots. Just like the toys of the 1930's. This model is one of a very few produced.  From my own collection which due to health conditions I need to reduce my large and varied German type military vehicles and tanks in the collection. 

It has opening hatches to the engine compartment. Plus an opening folding escape hatch just like the real thing. Viewing ports have lift up hatches. There is a large storage bin with opening lid on one side and the other has a box where the netting was kept to save it going milder - under the jack.. Do study the photographs.
Well made tin plate with construction in last 10 years. Ideal to compliment models made by companies such as Tippco, Elastolin and Lineol - same scale 1/24" or 70mm. 

Chain socket tracks with tensioner.

Please remember the above companies made their vehicles for children in Germany after and before the WW2 period. So they were robust. MTT has done an excellent job of making this Panzer tank which was based on the Czechoslovakia version which Germany took over when they invaded the country in WW2. The tank used a crew of 4. The target can be removed to expose the internal crew area of the tank.

This item is not clockwork. It is 1/24" scale and is the same scale all the other items I have for sale on eBay which are military related like soldiers and vehicles. 1/24" is equal to 70 mm used in Europe. Most of the vehicles can be slightly larger or slightly smaller but they are mainly 1/24" which is the size Lineol and Elastolin made their various products to be made to that size.

The tank comes with one figure as seen standing up through the hatch.

An interesting note is that the United Kingdom tested one of these tanks before the war from CKD and the British thought that someone was having a laugh and sending them a part made tank. It was far below what the UK would accept and sent it back. One of the issues was the size of the escape folding hatch which is to scale and you would need to be very thin to get out in an emergency. The model has been made from various books and plans and is near to the actual tank as any model on sale.
