This is the exciting story of the battleship Hood, one of the most famous and beautiful warships in World War II, and its sinking by the Bismark on May 24, 1941.  The book is in very good condition; the spine is tight, and the cover is clean with minor shelf wear including fading, scuffing, and/or bumping.  The pages are easily readable although yellowed or faded with age. The top stain is faded with a stamp from a previous owner. The previous owner's sticker is on the half title page.  The dust jacket is unclipped with minor chipping and is in very good condition; it is in a plastic cover.   See photographs.

This is a great book for any military fan, and it would be an excellent addition to anyone's book collection.

The book is about 6" x 8-1/2" x 1-1/4", 239 pages, and about 1-2 lbs.+/- with packaging.
