This is a custom built effects detonator that was used decades ago for special effects pyrotechnics on movie sets. This unit was purchased with a lot of motion picture items from Industrial Light and Magic (ILM), which was an effects company owned by George Lucas, many years ago.  Last I powered this up, it worked perfectly.  It's a piece of Hollywood history and was probably used on many of Lucas' projects. Could very well have been used on Star Wars.
