This is a labor of love, finally available after exceeding expectations in uniformity and finish.
These washers are stamp cut from a sheet of Phosphorous Bronze, carrying high spots on one side and low spots on the other. We begin with a center deburr, then 2 stages of hand lapping on resin bonded CBN bench stones, followed by 2 stages of polishing on a cowhide leather strop with 3 Micron CBN stropping compound then fine cloth with 1 Micron CBN stropping compound.
The process is no secret, and can be easily replicated. It will require good tools. The completed buttery end result is made available here without guesswork.
