With the PXIe-PCIe836x PXI Remote Control Kit, you can control PXI Express and CompactPCI Express systems on a PCI Express-based desktop computer or server via a fully transparent, high-bandwidth MXI-Express wired link. The kit consists of a PCI Express board on a PC. The board is connected to the PXI Express module in slot 1 of the PXI Express chassis via an MXI-Express cable. The PCI Express board is available in 2 configurations. The PXIe-PCIe8361 kit includes a PCI Express board with an x1 ("multiply by 1") PCI Express link, which provides up to 192 MB/s sustained throughput when connected to the PXI Express chassis via a cable. The PCI Express card in the PXIe-PCIe8362 kit has two x1 PCI Express links, each of which can be cable-connected to a separate PXI Express chassis to achieve a total sustained throughput of 208 MB/s. The PCI Express card in the PXIe-PCIe8362 kit has two x1 PCI Express links, each of which can be cable-connected to a separate PXI Express chassis to achieve a total sustained throughput of 208 MB/s. The PXIe-8360 module is included in both kits and is responsible for the conversion between PCI Express.
