A pair of antique Coalport Cups and Saucers. The Coalport mark dates these to between 1875 and 1881. The items are all in excellent condition with no obvious chips or cracks. The pattern, 6236, seems rare and no other examples could be found. The cup is white with gold trim and swag-like lines. The is a purple/pink fruit. The inner base of the cups feature a gold tree with half picked fruit. The saucers appear more like bowls, but I assume they are the saucers, but please bear this in mind. The width of the saucers is approximately: 145mm across. Please examine the photos for more detail.
