Vintage Ornate Carriage House Cast Aluminum Porch Sconce Light Fixture 26".

This is a beautiful ornate Carriage house style wall sconce with wall mount and bracket marked only with the UNION MADE and the UNDERWRITERS LABORATORIES stickers. It is cast aluminum and was painted black but it is wearing off in most places. It does come apart in 4 pieces and will be taken apart for shipping. The top and bottom finials both unscrew from the main body of the light. The top also comes off to access the bulb and clean the panels. The four clear panels have a diamond pattern etched into them. The light from the top finial to the bottom finial measures approximately 26" tall x 9" across with an 11" projection from the wall. The mount measures 6½" tall x 5" across and comes with the mounting bracket and matching screw. It was rewired in the mid-80s when the house was painted. It has hung on the Garage since 1949 when the home was purchased. This throws a beautiful light and would light up the entrance of your driveway to the depths of your backyard. This light can be painted in whatever color fits your color scheme. The design would look beautiful on a charming older home or it could be used to warm up the front entryway of a newer modern home.
