RARE. Lego (Leo Goldman imports of New York) made in Japan.

Las Vegas Roulette Wheel COIN BANK -1960’s , marked with label saying “Nevada savings & Loan Association Las Vegas “

- made of white Ceramic with red black and cream color/gold letters and numbers. Gold spinner.

Nothing to do with the Danish toy company.

At the time there are no patent issues so duplicate name. LE ( leo) GO( Goldman ) imports of New York City .

This is a very RARE piece from the early 1960’s made in Japan for Fine quality LEGO imports of New York. During the 1960’s these pieces were made in Japan but in the 1970’s moved production to Korea to get cheaper labor.

This piece has the oval Gold and red sticker stating “fine quality LEGO Japan .

I own two of these pieces -see separate listing for the second piece .

This is a promotional piece made for Nevada Savings & Loan Association Las Vegas

The banks name was changed in the 1970s

This novelty coin bank is in the shape of a roulette wheel with a spinning top . Coins are placed in the areas that say “ put coin here”. Once you spin the wheel it rotates until one falls into the slot on the side.

The underside has a place to empty the coins when needed. It may have had an oval rubber stopper but this one has a green felt piece covering the hole which someone said is original . I’d consider this more decorative and would not hold a large number of coins.

Because it’s so old I personally did not test with a coin but it spins as it should.

No chips or cracks but minor grazing under the spinner doesn’t affect quality of the piece.

Measures :

6.75” wide

1.5” high with out the spinner on top when removed

3” high with spinner in place

Excellent condition !

Really rare and unique piece. I saw once on eBay years ago and never again !
