One of the most creative and colorful sets of the decade, the 1963 Topps Baseball set has long become a favorite with vintage collectors. Using their 1953 baseball design as the framework, Topps added vibrant colors and modern photography for the era. The player cards feature dual-player images on the front of the cards, something Topps would not do again for another 20 years.

The 1963 Topps Baseball set consists of 576 cards, released in seven different series: Series #1 (cards #1-109), Series #2 (cards #110-196), Series #3 (cards #197-283), Series #4 (cards #284-370), Series #5 (Cards #371-446), Series #6 (cards #447-522), and Series #7 (cards #523-576).

Large color player image on the front complimented by a smaller black and white player image in the lower-right corner certainly make the '63 cards certainly stunning in appearance. The back of the '63 cards are impressive as well, highlighting extensive career and season-by-season statistics. Not just packed with information, they look great and are easy to read thanks in part to the use of yellow/gold ink combined with contrasting black font and white background.

Jammed packed with player info, vivid color, and creative photography, it is clear why the 1963 Topps Baseball cards have long become a favorite with collectors.
