French Château de Chasse, Sedan Chair, Original Unrestored Circa 1730-1830

The carriage has a red-ish velvet upholstered interior. The exterior is a brown-gold background. A coat of arms and a crown signifying the ownership by a french Comte (Count). The coat of arms show two shields. One with a bee hive and the other a hound.

The chair is still quite a bright and colorful piece, the seat is gone but the two arm rests remain. There were two panes of glass added to the left and right side windows. The chair has a leather studded roof and the door retained the original hardware.

The chair is about 66” tall, 29” wide and 35” deep
