We are a producer of  Churpi ( Dog Chew ). Please don’t get confused as we have registered our dog chew under nepa_tea in ebay. We are running our factory of Dog Chew since last 10 years and have supplied to many country. Our factory is situated in the Tea district of Nepal IILAM at an altitude of 2500m. This place is very famous for producing natural dog chew or Himalayan cheese chewing gum.
 
About Natural Dog Chew: (Protein 52% Fat 0.8 % Ash Food 7.2 % Moisture 10%,Carbohydrate 30.%)
The traditional Yak/Cow Dog chew (locally named Churpi) is 100% milk product. It is entirely hand made by farmers from Mountainous region of Nepal. Making of Churpi has its unique process. A special type of utensils is used to make this natural dog chew. Three chambered wooden drum called Shoptu (local language), Wooden lid (Dup). Strong wooden stirrer Kelu, Bamboo sieve known as Chergang and Piece of cotton cloth.
The main ingredients used in making this natural dog chew are Yak/cow milk, Lime, butter milk, lemon or anything containing lactic acid. The process of making this chew is very traditional. Fresh Yak/Cow milk is boiled and lime is added depending upon the quantity of milk. It is stirred with strong wooden stick Kelu. We need to stir the boiling milk continuously. As the milk start boiling a thick layer of butter starts to form in the milk. The butters is Extract and it’s keep aside (it is not used to make dog chew) while letting the milk boiling continuously.
After 2 to 3 hours of stirring and boiling the milk, white cheese starts forming. These white cheeses are separated with the help of large bamboo sieve called Chergang. After filtration, the curd is wrapped tightly with a cloth and cured at room temperature (14–21°C) for 2–3 days under pressure of heavy stones. The cheese is sliced and allowed to dry in shade or over a wood fire oven. This type of Dogchew
(Chhurpi) becomes very hard and have very low moisture content. It can be stored for a number of years and taste like a bit smoked cheese and last for hour with all sizes and ages dog, giving your dog a healthy bite.
