1. Mini Keychain RED Lights for Reading in Dark Theater or Restaurant   NIGHT VISION

  2. There's a name for these tiny red keychain flashlights that allow you to read in a darkened room without disturbing other people...task lights.

  3. We used to call them Spy Lights or Night Vision Lights, but they're neither. Here's the definition:
  4. Task lighting is direct lighting used to add visibility to a small area, to illuminate small details, and to reduce eye strain.

  5. Red light is preferred for reading in the dark because it does not trigger the neutralization of the rhodopsin, which is a chemical in the retina that is responsible for night vision.

  6. These are small. They measure 1" x 1.25" plus the chain. You turn them on by pressing or squeezing them (momentary switch.)

  7. GREAT FOR READING IN A CAR WITHOUT DISTURBING THE DRIVER!
