Up for sale is a beautiful Abbey & Imbrie "The Imbrie" Black Bass casting reel. It is unclear to me who made this reel for Abbey & Imbrie. I have heard it could have been Julius Vom Hofe; however, this reel also has characteristics that can be found William Slote reels. With that being said, this example is in great shape and it works nicely. The hard rubber is free of any cracks or defects. Please note, a few of the screw heads do have some wear. The clicker switch works as intended. The frontside is lightly marked "Abbey & Imbrie". This reel is size "4" (the smallest offered). It has a diameter of 2 1/4” and the spool width is 1 1/4”. All-in-all, a neat reel, that would look great in any collection! Please see all of the photos and thank you for looking.

All reels and lures are shipped in sturdy boxes. Rods are shipped in USPS triangular shaped tubes, regular cardboard tubes, or PVC pipe. I will not use a rod tube or box that feels weak.
• International shipping is done through the Global Shipping Program.
