This very well executed life drawing is a good example of the fine drawing skill of John M Green. It is not signed by him but comes from a large portfolio of his drawings.
During the 1960s and early 1970's Green was Head of Art at the Margaret Glen Bott School in Nottingham.  There is not much other biographical information on him.  He trained in art in about 1938, and painted and drew throughout his life, producing many oils in the 1940's and 1950's, some of which were exhibited in his local Nottinghamshire and some nationally.  Most of his best work is that which shows off his particular skill for life drawing.
